In case anyone is curious what the car looks like and rides like with the roof rack installed.
I have the rack with the basket installed. It takes about an hour or 2 to get everything set up and assembled. It has a sturdy feel once installed and super easy to take on and off with an extra set of hands once you put it together.
Wind noise is significantly increased at highway speeds past 60 or so and only I averaged about 25 mpg cruising at 80-85 instead of 27.5 or so mpg without it. I haven’t noticed any kind of damage to the paint which was my biggest concern.
