OEM Illuminated Door Sills installed

I finally got around to installing the Illuminated door sills. I picked these up from Ike Honda from a FB group for a great price. 199 + shipping.

They were finiky to put in mainly due to the driver side lower air bag trim being a real pain to remove. Overall very straight forward and a very complete OEM accessory. I love the way it looks and breaks up the door jamb.

Next project is installing the project aero front lip.

Can i ask did you find the bump where the clip is a little distracting? The clip where you attach the wire with the tape. After putting it back together, im just a little annoyed by it but overall the sills are great. Did mine recently.

Yea I did at first but when I put the rest of the trim on, I stopped noticing it.

I just bought this from black hawk Japan, and it didn't come with any instructions, and I was wondering how you installed it. maybe you could do a write up or point me in the right direction on how to get it installed.

This is also a good video to give you a visual.



The hardest part by far is to remove the driver side knee air bag cover. The way the trim clips onto the airbag assembly can make it difficult to remove. You will end up bending the cover way more than you think you should.
