Try using premium instead of regular fuel to see if you feel a difference.

If not, stick with regular.

If you notice a difference, see if 89 octane works as well as premium.

We've owned multiple Honda's and some are noticeably more powerful on premium, others not. I've thought Acura K24's get 205hp by specifying premium vs. Honda K24's getting 185hp on regular.

I would make sure, if necessary given the car's mileage, that the transmission and engine oil had already been replaced. In the absence of verifiable confirmation, I would have this work done.

I'll give it a try and see how it feels, thanks

Drove it off the lot with 30,000 miles on it so not too bad but i'll definitely keep up with it, thank you

When it comes to mods, it all depends on how you are going to use the car, if you just want some more fun without too much hassle, a decent intake is a good bet. It wont be a life changing increase in performance but it should give a little bump and increase the intake noise so you'll hear the turbo, depending on how much boost the EX makes. Plus they are easy to install so its a good starter mod if you want to do it yourself (with friends is always a bonus!).

Tires are a game changer and if you package them with a nice set of wheels you'll get to improve that fun factor while dressing up the car at the same time. Tires improve grip so that improves your handling, braking and accelerating, all at once.

A popular mod of course is exhaust, but with that you have to be careful of "drone". Again going for that fun but not to crazy theme, you'd want something that gives you a bit more volume without driving you and your passengers crazy while holding a constant speed on the highway or making the change in your cup holder vibrate like there's an earthquake.

Thank you very much for this! I'll definitely be looking at mods for it because it is my daily so I'm not planning on doing anything too crazy, but i appreciate the info :) Happy holidays
