Sold my g80 with the plan to get a ct5 bw after purchasing the bw I had instant regret (car was to big ) thankfully the dealership took the car back…. That when I decided to try the fl5 with no expectations of liking the car and was just gonna order another bmw ….. I’m in shock on how much I enjoy driving the Honda I’m very erratic but as of now I’m gonna keep it for a few years…. The plan is to tune the car can anyone recommend a good shop near me for install and tune….. I live in Boca Raton don’t mind driving a little ….. thanks again! Some pics for clout… also John cena as stupid as it sounds was the review I need to actually be open to the Honda, I mean when a man that can afford literally any car in the world pics a 50k Honda …. It must be great !

Congrats on the purchase!

If you enjoy the car stock, a simple tune will really have you in love! No additional parts, just a tune will open up about another 40-50whp. Don’t do one of the off the shelf Hondata tunes. They aren’t as smooth and leave power on the table. A lot of us here go with @Jester04. I’ve been running his track tune for a year and half and love it. Gives the car the power it should have come with from the factory. Jester is in Orlando so not far from you but I believe he is currently out of the country for a while. Still does all of his tuning remote but you won’t be able to meet him in person for a while.

Derek Robinson at IMW tuned and Phereable are other good options.

if you want even more power, downpipe, intercooler, intake, and then a custom tune from one of the above mentioned tuners will put you around the 380whp mark with even more torque. Majority of that power coming from the tune and downpipe. Intercooler just to keep temps down and heat soak down and intake for the turbo spool noise! For anything in the 400’s and above you’ll need fuel and turbo upgrades. Traction becomes an issue here. First is already useless for me and second is spin city as well. Tires, rear motor mount upgrade and suspension will help with that.

AS for unlocking the ecu, Hondata has jailbreak tours that go around to a bunch of cities. Find one near you to do it in person and buy the flashpro bundle for a discount. Or ship your ecu to Hondata and they’ll jailbreak it.

Intake, downpipe and tune made the car 100 times more fun.

Phearable is in FL. They can take care of the Hondata/ecu jailbreak process & setup an E-tune or dyno tune depending on what you want.
