Rampage G-Series G30-660: Built Right, Built Here

I pulled the trigger on the Rampage G-Series G30-660 kit for my SBX Performance FL5. My goal is to max out the stock motor safely with a setup that’s engineered, consistent, and serviceable.

No mystery parts. No reboxed imports from Alibaba. This kit is built in-house

Why the G30-660 for a stock block?

    • Fast-spooling G-Series core with headroom to run efficient boost in the sweet spot of the turbo map.
    • Lower shaft speeds at a given power vs. tiny “dyno hero” turbos = cooler charge temps & happier rods/pistons.
    • Upgradeable path: when the motor’s built, the system scales no need to re-do all the hard parts.
    • Built like a rock! Reliability is the biggest factor on this setup over the drop in turbos.
What’s next
I’ll be logging install, tuning, and no-BS data. I bought this kit straight out as a dealer and WAS NOT SPONORED by anyone Going to give facts about it and not my personal opinion.

Drop questions below and tell me what data you want to see (0–60, 60–130, track sessions, etc.). Dyno day coming soon.

Same! I had to jump on it. Go big or go home right? No Chinese knockoff here lol Went with the 660 its good for top power on stock internals. One day I will update internals and then upgrade to the 825 or so.... excited to test this out hopefully they continue working on FL5 stuff

Yeah that 660 is the best all around in my opinion. That was my plan when I had the Subaru. I don’t think I’ll demand such power in the fl5 but I could imagine it nonetheless. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Yup will be intereting to see what I will get out of it and how it drives. The G25 660 Spools the fastest but I dont care about low end power, I am fine with up top makes it more fun. I am going to push this stock motor to the limits.
