What’s confusing? The Type R is a race car. “R” literally stands for racing and the car itself is (essentially) track-ready out of the box. In simplified terms : If a car is built for the track and is track ready, it is indeed a race car, is it not??

It’s very much a street car.

Maybe yours is? Jkjk ?

(Definition) Race Car : A car built or modified for racing.

It is a street car…but also built for racing, so it’s a bit of both, yeah? Back to my original point, it is understandable why others get confused and think we FL5 drivers always want to race…which was a tongue-in-cheek point to begin with. Lol!

Had this happen in most of my Civic's so get used to it. People think any modified or special edition Civic is racing all the time, kind of like every Mustang driver is a moron who doesn't know how to drive a rwd V8.

I don't mind someone driving next to me and throwing a rev, but to tailgate for that length of time is criminal. Even when I owned my GT500, I've never had that amount people trying to race me in one trip.

The bumper sticker comment was tongue-in-cheek btw.
Yes - i don't mind the revving... i DO mind the tailgaters... had one like that today...was not happy since i was on a busy local stop-and-go road... so no excuse for that behavior. :(

What I always do with tailgaters (if they’re actually driving something that can keep up) is simply drive the speed limit or a little under. They will get impatient VERY quickly with the non-race / non-Nascar draft speeds and move on. If you drive faster you’ll just encourage them to continue their unsafe behavior.

In stop and go traffic…ugh. You’re kinda stuck.?

Can’t stand tailgaters. That’s why my daily is my Sierra on 6” lift. Brake checking is fun because my truck would barely feel when their front end ends up on my hitch.
