I just greased up all the bottom joints that connect to the rail. Going to see if that does anything.sounds like it needs some greasing not a whole rail
Do you know what the dealer fixed in terms of the cushion? In my case the squeaking was def coming from the interior of the seat, at or around the side bolsters. There was no way grease was going to do a f:ck:ng thing without complete disassembly of the seat cover and cushions.
The inner seat frame was replaced (which required entire seat disassembly). Nothing else was replaced including the cushions.Do you know what the dealer fixed in terms of the cushion?
Ah, what a pain! I do hear squeaking in the side bolster for mine as well, but I also hear it near the frame rails. Thanks for the insight, should be easier to deal with the dealer. The inner seat frame was replaced (which required entire seat disassembly). Nothing else was replaced including the cushions.
I do not have this rattle.Anyone else have a little rattle on the b pillar around the seat belt? At least I think it's where it's from.
It's absolutely maddening.
Don’t get me startedElantra N seems to have lots of creak, squeal and rattles also. What’s up with the Asian makers? They really need to up their build quality.
My old type R, ND Miata, and Avante N all had rattles... (they were all 2015+)Elantra N seems to have lots of creak, squeal and rattles also. What’s up with the Asian makers? They really need to up their build quality.
