I used to drive an 06 Camry so I’m not exactly used to new cars and tuning in general. There are so many ECU and other digital components which seem to make tuning a lot harder. I also don’t want to run into firmware issues as I have heard some cars firmware lock their components(in the name of theft prevention I suppose).

There’s also the issue of my 24 Sport Hatch having a CVT…. I have no idea how reliable they really are and can’t find anyone who has stress tested it enough to give a range. On the other hand there’s people telling me to just not tune at all since they say it will instantly detonate under any kind of added stress at all.

Are there any people(Hondata I am aware of) that know their stuff or Honda dedicated places I can educate myself about tuning these magnificent cars. Just to make sure I don’t jump in an total a brand new car.

Hondata / KTuner / TSP / Phearable are the most popular tune providers in the CivicX/XI community and are the names to research.

These cars have a large aftermarket following. If you can't find your question here on this forum, go to CivicX.com. 10th gen and 11th gen civics use very similar 1.5T turbocharged engines.

This is an older post, but...
Are you sure about your car? If you have a 2024 Civic Sport in the US, you have a 2.0 NA. If thats the case, you're even more limited in regards to tuning and performance upgrades. I don't believe Hondata supports the 2.0 NA. You'll need to get a Ktuner unit and either need to get a custom tune or an OTS tune from Phearable, and I believe Phearable is the only one that offers an OTS tune, besides the base tunes that come with a Ktuner.
