Hello does anyone know how to remove the wire from the mirror cap? Some idiot got my driver side mirror and took off don’t want it to dangle while driving to the shop

That will probably require to remove the door panel and disconnect it.

Roll down your window, hang the mirror on the inside. Wire looks long enough for that.

its located on the inside of the door pane. towards the front by the hinges. and
there are three #10 bolts to unscrew it

Behind door panel there's a connector.
I have a complete set of mirrors with turn signals, BSI, and heated. If your interested.
I upgraded and bout a set from the Mikestore with power folding.
