Hello,
For a few weeks now, I’ve been experiencing a strange vibration coming from the left side of the car. I had the wheels aligned perfectly, so I initially ruled that out. Today, I suspected the left rim might be slightly bent or out of balance, but after checking, I found no issues there. However, the noise still persists.

I don’t feel any vibration through the steering wheel — it just seems to come from the driver’s front left side.
Do you have any suggestions or have you experienced something similar?

I'm starting to suspect the inner tie rod. When I built the car, it was very slightly bent, and I bent it back into shape, since there’s a big shortage of FL5 parts in my country. However, the alignment didn’t show any problems. Could that still be the cause?

At low speeds, the issue is not noticeable. It usually starts around 40–60 km/h and continues at higher speeds. The sound is noticeable, but while driving, you don’t feel it anywhere (not even on the steering wheel) — it’s just an irritating noise.

!!! It feels similar to driving over a painted road line

When I took off the wheel, I noticed that the inner side of the tire was slightly more worn than the outer side.

any suggestions?

1) Tire wear - how many miles on tires? likely normal
2) Noise - check to be sure the fender liner is in place and not picking up air.

I agree with @tacthecat. If you don’t feel the vibration, and only hear it, I would suggest looking for loose plastic parts, etc. It doesn’t seem related to the drivetrain.

I've experienced the same thing with loose plastics:
My son used to nose his Fit into a dirt bank while parking at work. He went away to college without his car, so I'd drive it to work every couple weeks to keep the battery charged and fluids moving. Lots of noise, as though the tires were out of round, but no vibration feel.
Found about 8 plastic clips were missing or broken. Not hard to fix (a few minutes, plus clips). I never drove the car after he returned, but he knew to keep from nosing it into the bank.

Also, double check the aluminum under-tray fasteners. I've seen some loosen on other Civic's.

Tyres with 5k miles, i have no arch liner installed, but i’ll check the plastic. I also doubt that it is bevause of drivetrain. I can not feel any vibration on steering wheel, but inner worn tyre doubts me a lot

If you've removed the fender liners air can be getting into places it wasn't meant to go. Did something happen/change before the noise was noticed (service/pot-hole)?

Terrible roads(I hope)! Sounds like paper fluttering, perhaps in the ventilation ducts? Simple test would be to put HVAC on recirculate, fan off, windows rolled up to dee if noise changes.
