Quite a few people there that are now good friends from going last year, some from up north, some from the “area”.

Also there will have some traitors that sold the type R for inferior brands haha it will be a great group and a great weekend. Glad you signed up already. Already 6 signed up and I know another 4 people that are coming for sure and the reg has not even really open for public (im cheap so waiting to sign up in feb ).

I hear ya, I didn’t want to miss out on an event + CTR meet (especially my first) and was unsure how quickly spots get gobbled up. I figured there would be more HPDE events at VIR but that just shows how little I know. I want to do at least 3-4 HPDE events this year so I’ll have to check more tracks. The March event is a waitlist for novices at the moment. I’m looking into autocross events too since it was suggested on the other thread. Anyone here take part in those?

My only track event to date was a NASCAR experience last summer (not really a fan but live next to a track that was hosting and I mean, you get to drive a race car! I chose a late model) and I’ve been pretty hungry since then.

Dominion Raceway in Fredericksburg does auto cross on a portion of the track pretty regularly.
