FL5 aftermarket steering wheel?

So I did a quick forum search, but didn’t really find anything, but I’m curious as I’ve seen video and photos of quick release steering wheel wheels on the FL5. How do you go about doing that and I’m assuming you lose all functionality of cruise control and everything??

They make switch relocation kits. They also have hubs that you can reprogram steering wheel buttons to function the same as the OEM switches like Zestek.

If you buy the button relocation kit, it moves the buttons to the hub at a stationary position (behind the steering wheel) thus allowing the steering wheel to be released and buttons remain behind.

This whole thing is very intriguing. Looking at doing something soon! SPARCO suede wheel with the relocate kit most likely. I have some emails out now.
