And yeah guys if you get any leads on a CW Type R under 55k OTD please let me know. I know it would be difficult at this point but I'm ready to play the waiting game until the snow melts in Maine. Thank you all for your suggestions to my earlier post as well. Really overwhelmed by how helpful people are in these forums.

To everyone still waiting, check for any transport damage on delivery. Transporter apparently scraped the underside of my front bumper. (All of the white spots are just dirt)

Car # 434 checking in. Officially took delivery last Friday morning. This is the longest wait ever, worse than the DMV.

Flat bedded her home, didn't want it to get all salty. Did an all nighter cleaning her up. Of course it is snowing again, good thing my garage is set up to wash a car indoors. Will go out for one more time, for window tinting, Monday ( weather pending). Then it is going to sit in for the rest of winter.

Oh BTW...will the last guy in Chicago for the 1st batch delivery turn the lights off and turn the night light on for the 2nd batch. Oh wait.....that is me

Interesting that is said ALL Honda's are selling for 6-8% over MSRP. Hell, Si's are going for at least 5k over around me.

Still waiting. Delivery window provided by salesman ends this Thurs. Seems that no one around the Tampa Bay Area has received one yet. Ultimate bummer, but really glad some have theirs before Christmas.

Waiting on update from dealer this morning as ETA was through yesterday. Seems based on tracker some surrounding Cleveland dealers got them. Not sure if that's accurate or not...supposedly snow storm coming this week so that'll probably complicate things ?

I talked to my dealer over the weekend and they said that smaller dealerships will just have their Type Rs randomly show up. There will be no allocations or information ahead of time. Does this sound right? I’m first in line with a deposit, but I guess there’s no telling when it will show up. ?

Still waiting on mine. Dealer told me last Wednesday that it's at the local rail port. That's a whole 7 miles from the dealer.

I'm surprised how many dealers in DC still have their cars. If cars were gonna sale quick it would be here, considering this area which is fairly recession proof.
