Just talked to my salesman my car was in New Mexico last Monday today it is in Maryland, waiting for a hauler to bring it to South Carolina. Seems like it missed a stop that would make the trip a lot shorter. No wonder these cars are not getting to dealers on time.

Woah that's great news! What series is your VIN if you don't mind me asking? I have an 800 series VIN and the dealership is also in Massachusetts, with the production date 1/10, and ETA 2/20-2/24. Hopefully mine gets here soon as well!

This is fake news. No Type R has been delivered in the area. It has to go through OH, PA, NY, NJ , MA. None of the cars have arrived

Just got off the phone with my salesperson; the car hasn't been picked up by the Virginia Transportation company yet. Also, he is totally fine with me driving with the dealer plates on, so problem solved! Fingers crossed for next week!

Is it sitting at California Port then if virginia transportation did not pick it ?

I hope not. The car comes by rail and then Virginia Transportation company picks it up on a truck when it reaches the New England states. But before they pick it up, the car could be anywhere from California to the midwest on rail.

Not sure why the dealership would call and lie about this, especially when I've already pre-purchased it but I guess we will see!

Mine is also 800 series. This is the first Type R the dealership is getting, I stopped by after work to sign the title after they called to tell me it was in MA and all the employees are just as excited as I am to finally see it haha it's such a fun experience.
