Hi all,

i am new to the tuning scene, so any help/ comment is much appreciated.

I am located in Australia and have the 1.5T hatchback (CVT) FL1, I am currently using the Hondata Flashpro 93oct basemap since Ktuner does not support the ECU here. Bolt on parts installed are:
- PRL stage 1 intake
- catted DP + FP
- intercooler + charge pipes

So my question is: it is worth to get an E-tune to optimize and make the most out of the bolt-on parts or it wont make much difference? And given that the OTS tunes arent compatible for my ECU, so E-tune seems the only convenient option i have.

Thanks in advance!

E-Tune is always a better idea than an OTS tune. It will always be better optimized for your specific car.

thx for the reply.

I understand that the e-tune will optimize things but just wondering whether the difference will be noticeable/ significant versus the Hondata basemap. Trying to justify spending another few hundred dollars out of my thin wallet.
