Really? One picture and no details around suspension?

And I'm going to keep screaming this until someone pays attention: where are the cars with 19" aftermarket wheels? DO THEY EXIST?

The actual truth is 19" aftermarket wheels options are very limited in comparison to 18". I have been struggling to find any options. All special order and took up to 10 months.

Mine currently have 19" setup, but looking for second set of wheels. :(

I’d like to sell my oem 20” wheels and OEM tires with 2000 miles on them but found no interest in them. Bummer! I have after market 18’s with Michelin all season rubber and don’t want the 30 aspect 20’s that came stock!

Pros and cons running 285s compared to 265? I’m planning to run this set in the future but from what I’ve gathered, it made the car less responsive due to weight(all stock)? TIA!

Pros and cons running 285s compared to 265? I’m planning to run this set in the future but from what I’ve gathered, it made the car less responsive due to weight(all stock)? TIA!
Road noise is considerably louder with 285's, though turn-in is great. 265's are very sufficient as well for this platform.

Unless you can find a deal on tires I dont really see any positives for running anything bigger than a 265 on 9.5" wide rim.

Not only is it heavier, the tire buldge on the sidewall will add flex and take away responsiveness and can reduce overall performance.

Tire rack did a very good study on this linked below, but overall running on the middle to narrow side of the rim width range was optimal.

Summary:
So what did we learn? The key takeaways are that in the dry, a wider tire does not automatically mean faster lap times. Using a wheel width that properly supports the tire will provide faster laps than a wider tire with very little wheel support. We saw this in our testing - the 215/45R17 tire on the 9" wide wheel was noticeably faster than the much wider 245/40R17 tire on the 7" wide wheel. That's not to say tire width doesn't matter, though, as the 225/45R17 combinations were all faster than the 215/45R17s. The 245/40R17 on the 9" wide wheel was very close to the 225/45R17 on the same wheel. If we could fit a 10" wheel width on our test cars, the pattern seems to indicate a 245 on a 10" would have been the fastest combination of all.

In the wet, a narrower tire is generally faster than a wide one, and once again, more support from the wheel is better. The 215s on the 8s and 215s on the 9s were the fastest combinations in the wet. The 215s on 7s, 225s on 8s, and 225s on 9s were a step back from there, and all the 245s, along with the 225s on 7s, set the slowest wet laps of the test.

We need someone to play with a more aggressive fitment for the ones that don't plan on tracking their cars and mainly drive on street. +45 offset is weak ?

In my own opinion, visually, 265 looks a little small for the FL5s. Still, appreciate the response!

We need someone to play with a more aggressive fitment for the ones that don't plan on tracking their cars and mainly drive on street. +45 offset is weak ?
I thought they were conservative too until they made the car handle worse than stock. Any more aggressive than +45 is likely to be a big downgrade in most conditions. I know plenty of people build their cars with how the car looks in their driveway but for many of us it's not worth the sacrifice.

I'm looking forward to more 19" options in HIGHER than +45 offsets.
