That is not mandatory from Honda, that’s the dealer feeding you a line. I worked at a Honda dealership, and I can tell you that no dealer will get anywhere near 9. 3-4 was the max per dealer, I cant remember exactly what number it was.It seems like whatever salesperson could flush out of a customer, was who was getting the car. It's a really tiny dealership, who hadn't even expected to get an R, so thats a weird one. I did not have a deposit with them, had just expressed interest when I had facilitated them selling a civic to my mother-in-law. I have a deposit at a big dealership, and they're only received one so far, and were told 9, but now they (and I) are thinking that's not happening... only one person ahead of me and I was told (and we'll see) that there was only a mandatory (for all Hondas at their dealership) tire/rim protection package for $800 as only extra. Guess we'll see.
Black isn’t coming. Dealers were given their allocation total in August 2022, and the sales manager had to pick the colours they wanted for those allocations over the three year production.Still no black in Canada wtf![]()
allocation total as in allocation for 2024 MY? or the entire production run?Black isn’t coming. Dealers were given their allocation total in August 2022, and the sales manager had to pick the colours they wanted for those allocations over the three year production.
Allocation total for the entire production was completed in August 2022. I received one of the two vehicles my dealership was receiving over the three year period.allocation total as in allocation for 2024 MY? or the entire production run?
do you know if they increased or decreased from the originally rumored ~570 or whatever number?
two over 3 yrs? wth...Allocation total for the entire production was completed in August 2022. I received one of the two vehicles my dealership was receiving over the three year period.
It sucks. Wish we could have received a boost in allocation like the Aussies, but it is what it is. The dealership I'm working with is considered large and has received 2 so far. I know another dealership, probably considered smaller in size, also received 2. Not sure if they're getting more though. Both in the GTA.two over 3 yrs? wth...
is it a big dealership? or relatively small? damn I may never get my ctr...
Honda Canada uses what they call “Category size” which is dependant on vehicle sales. This dealership was a Category 3 (1 is the smallest, 7 being the largest). There is another local dealer that is a Category 5 store, and they are getting three total.two over 3 yrs? wth...

Just noticed it too. These photo of ads are around LM, BC Area. I think they keeping it and holding for next year. Though I received a message from the red one a week ago as they were trying to sell it to me and even willing to let me test drive it. I just said “no need to test drive it if you’re gonna sell it to me for MSRP even if it’s considered used”. Didn’t receive a response after. LOLI've noticed some dealers with markups on their "used" or flipped FL5 are pulling their sales posts. I can't imagine they're being sold, especially with winter rolling out now. Trying to hold out till next year or sell at auction maybe?
Unfortunately, yes. And I’ve seen worse.I can't believe there's people buying these for 72k, holy f***
