Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I have a feeling they will raise MSRP for 2024 model significantly in Canada. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm guessing 3k to 5k!?

I'm thinking more like 500-1000 tops. Honda hasn't mentioned a price increase for the CTR in North America yet, but judging by the increase for the base and Si 2024 Civic, I'm expecting (hoping) it's around there.

Oh man, finally saw an FL5 in Rallye Red on the road and damn, I can't wait!!

I agree I think there will likely be a price hike, but I don't think $3k - 5k makes sense unless Acura bumps the ITS accordingly.
Since a lot of early adopters are shifting over to the ITS as an option as it's "obtainable" at MSRP, and because the CTR is made of unobtainium, I think that much of a jump would price the ITS out for cross shoppers entirely.
It would effectively put the ITS at the mark up price of the FL5.

Albeit, who know's Honda Canada already fucked up distribution, why not go full we-todd.

It’s probably ridiculous. How can a Honda Canada is leaving dealers and customers in the dark like this while almost every day a civic type R gets delivered in the US. One of my customers just got back from vacation in Florida. He went to a local Honda dealership and saw three of them sitting on the lot available for sale with a small markup but the mark ups are negotiable depending on the accessories you take., honda Canada really needs to wake up

It's disappointing but probably better for your health not to dwell on it. We have our deposits in and hopefully we'll be able to get one within the next 6-12 months (long I know).

I'm going to the states in a few days, I'm hoping to see a Boost Blue CTR while I'm there or even SGP, since I've only ever seen it in CW. Looking forward to it!

Came back from the US (Maine) but didn't see one while I was there. Hopefully next trip to the US, I'll be in Florida, and should see one. Just noticed that Hanover Honda received their Type R last week but it's spoken for.

According to CarGuru, there was another Type R delivered in Hanover Ontario. Called to inquire and was told the customer had already taken delivery a few weeks ago.

A mix of speculation and confirmation from my dealership - When the dealership receives a car, they have to add it to their inventory which includes posting it on sites like Car Guru. The last three Type R's I've seen, including from my own dealership, where posted there. When I talked to my dealership about a month ago, I was told they have to put it up whether it's already spoken for or not. So I check Car Guru occasionally for any leads. Hope that helps.

When I contacted the dealership, they said it was spoken for and they were having trouble getting the listing off CarGuru, which is why it's still there.

Saw your post on the other forum, going to be picking up mine soon. Also black lol settled for a black instead. I can’t be bothered waiting any longer for a blue when no one knows Ontario delivery dates. Watch as I say that, blues come in next month haha

Honestly dude, they really don't know anything at all which make the whole thing on both the ITS/CTR sides frustrating. Someone on the forum mentioned ABP should be coming out in August, but it's the end of August and nothing. I was told it was going to be Black and White for the initial run, yet someone in the GTA posted their White ITS next to an LCM ITS at the dealership. It's all over the place lol.

Did you get an ETA for your ITS?
