Hey all - this is my first post on the 11th gen forums. I just got my sonic grey Si a few days ago and am trying to get through the break-in period asap.

Does anyone know if the front brake pads are interchangeable between the 10th gen and 11th gen Si's?

I'm scheduled to go to a track day next weekend already, and was surprised to see nobody selling brake pads for the 11th gen Si yet. My hope is that I could slap in some track pads meant for a 10th gen Si and be good to go. Thanks!

I did a side by side comparison of the 11th gen and 10th gen front Si pads - they are NOT interchangeable. Bummer.

11th Gen Honda Civic Brake pad options for Si? IMG_4852

I had purchased this set for the fronts of my Si and they are pretty decent. I cooked the stock brakes on my car at a track day at PIR. I don’t personally think they are like outstanding but they definitely are an upgrade over stock. My only gripe is that they work best when warmed up, on a cold day it’s not so fun. When I had purchased them a few months ago, the website says it doesn’t fit the Si but it does. As stated above, front brakes and pads are the same as the outgoing Accord 2.0T models

Thanks for posting this. Carbotech is now making pads for our cars but they are pricey. ~$300 for a set of fronts.

I did see that while shopping around. I know Car and Driver used them on their long-term car and had some very good things to say about those. I wish I could afford those and rotors!

I did 5 30 minute track sessions yesterday at Putnam near Indy on Powerstop Z23-2115 fronts and Hawk DTC-30 rears with Motul 600 fluid. They held up well, no fade and the braking was consistent. I had 6 laps at the end of the day all within .5 seconds of each other. The front discs look great, the tears are slightly grooved and the the brake system light kept coming on 10 minutes into the session, but no change in performance or feel.
They smoked every time I came in to the pit too, so they were definitely working!
