You may also be interested in checking out the Porsche Experience Center. For $750 I was able to have 90min in a 992 S with an instructor. This was early last year at their Los Angeles location. I thought it was well worth the money.
Interesting. I'll see if it happens again in the spring. Before that happened, my fuel gauge was showing empty and the nearest station was a janky looking place in a small town, which is what made this think this was just some bad gas.

Without the restrictor there's a light drone, but it's light enough to not bother me. I know this is pretty subjective though and everyone may hear it differently.
I'm able to have conversations with passengers fine, and don't have an issue with phone conversations via android auto.

I've been running the Megan Racing single exit for a year and am pretty happy with it. It has a removable restrictor at the tailpipe that does a good job quieting the exhaust. I always run with it off and am not a fan of loud systems.
This was an easy copy/paste for me since I've had friends ask me to make this list. I have a reputation for being fickle with cars ?
It spans from the first cars I've owned to get me to my minimum wage jobs & college, through today.
1994 Nissan Sentra XE
1997 Hyundai Accent
1999 Chevrolet...
I've occasionally had that happen with every manual car I've owned and assume it's just bad luck from the synchros being misaligned.
Aside from what was already mentioned, you can also try pushing the clutch in a 2nd time, or shifting into second and back to first.
I haven't been paying close attention to fuel economy, but there doesn't seem to be a big difference.
For what it's worth, on a recent road trip I was getting about 40mpg. With mixed city/highway & track use, it's currently averaging 31mpg. But that average is still creeping up after last...

I've been on the Phearable 1.5 91 octane tune for about 18000 miles with no clutch issues. It's been on map 3 this entire time too. My only other mod that could affect power is a Megan single-exit catback.
I'm planning on writing a quick (positive) update for this thread soon.
At least on the non-Type-R models , the front lower control arms have a sharp bracket welded to them, which sit just below the outer CV axle boots. During the install, it's very easy to cut the boot on that bracket.
I covered that bracket with a folded up microfiber towel when I did lowering...
iirc, MAPerformance's 10th gen Si drag car was making about 500hp on stock internals out of its L15B7 before it blew (their YouTube channel has a series on it).
So with aftermarket internals and gears (and the other supporting mods you mentioned), I don't imagine you'd have an issue staying...
Looking forward to hearing more about that BBK if it's meant to be used on a daily driver (has dust boots & seals). Cool to see it's with two-piece rotors too!

Hey all - this is my first post on the 11th gen forums. I just got my sonic grey Si a few days ago and am trying to get through the break-in period asap.
Does anyone know if the front brake pads are interchangeable between the 10th gen and 11th gen Si's?
I'm scheduled to go to a track day...
