Are my front wipers normal?

Specifically, when I pull for windshield wiper fluid, it seems like I have to hold it down for a while and then I end up with a flood of water on my windshield.

It’s also super weird that it sprays water onto the blade instead of the windshield!

Is my car normal? If it is, anyone else surprised by this initially?

I know the timing is a little on the long side. All the things you mentioned is normal.

Instead of being traditionally on or underneath the hood, the windshield washer nozzles are mounted directly onto the arm like an old Mercedes.

Does it always spray when the wiper blades are at the most left side of the windshield for you all too? It leaves a bunch of liquid stains on the left side for me. I keep trying to time it differently so that it would spray more in the middle but it just won’t work!

Normal. It's another area of the you need to practice to really extract maximum performance from the car ?
