Looking to install APR performance rear sides and the installation instructions asks for 2 holes to be drilled on each side to secure 2 screws on top of the single screw that goes into an existing hole. I’m trying to avoid drilling holes into the bumper, so thinking of using double sided tape along with the single screw to secure it.

Anyone with the APR rear sides did the same or can comment on the install?

I dislike using double side tape on anything car related (maybe save for a small trunk lip), would never use on a front lip but for those rear sides probably be ok, I can't imagine they actually do much as far as aero go so they are not getting pushed down an insane amount like in the front

How dare you. According to the brochure I got with the APR part, they claim to test all their products. I’m positive it creative pounds and tons of downforce. I plan to weights in the passenger side floor so counter the downforce.

Yeah gonna give the double sided tape a try. At lease these is one screw to prevent it from falling off the bumper completely.

I could eat my words but they throw all their products in a wind tunnel? hmmm for some reason I don't believe it. I mean if they did why not just show data on each product? Does not matter though if someone likes how it looks its enough.

I don't blame you not wanting to drill either. Only thing I would drill is front lip, nuts and bolts always. I have seen em flap around even with nuts and bolts so I don't trust tape or self tapers.

I drilled the holes. You could try taping them on but that's a lot of money to go flying down the road (or track) behind you. :)

Doesn’t it have at least one screw holding it?

I slid under the car and confirmed there is 1 factory screw and 1 factory clip. That plus tape may have a chance.
