Going to my second ever track day soon and have new pads ready to go, but I keep seeing that people reccommend to change out the brake fluids.
I know people use motul and castrol SRF but I honestly don't think I will ever reach temperatures that high as I rarely track and am still new to push my car to its limits. Plus, I will need to bleed brakes once a year which I can do, but would rather avoid if possible.
I came across Penrite Super DOT 4 Brake Fluid which states the boiling temp to be at 525 F / 270 C. Is this better compared to OEM as I'm still not sure waht the OEM fluid is rated at.
Curious to see if anyone has tried this fluid or should I just suck it up and use motul or castrol srf even if I am still a very new track driver. Thanks.
