Hello FL5 Fam,
I’ve been a Honda fan for a long time. It helps that some of my best friends growing up are also into Hondas. I had three buddies with DC2 Type R’s back in the day and one of them still has his.
Back in 2007 I bought my first S2000. A 2007 Silverstone AP2 that I picked up in Minnesota and drove it through eight states on my way back to BC. It was my daily for quite a number of years.
I had a lot of adventures with this car and met a lot of fun, like minded friends.

My first AutoX back in 2015.
Countless Mt. Baker Runs with the BC and WA S2k group.
At the end of 2010, my friend decided to buy an Apex Blue S2000CR. I drove him out to Portland, Oregon to pick it up. Over the years, we had so much fun enjoying our cars together, but in 2017 he decided it was time to sell. He asked if I knew of anyone that would be interested in buying it, I think you can guess what happened next. More pics of this beauty on IG (@s2000clubracer).
It was in this car that I started tracking, back in 2019.
Three years ago set up an S2K Day at VIMC track day.
I also have a couple of german cars, but I decided that I wanted to get back into a Honda for my daily. Early in the fall, I was added to a local Whatsapp chat group for JDM cars. I jokingly asked if anyone knew of a dealership that had an FL5 at MSRP. A friend on mine reached out to me and said he didn’t but that he was pondering selling his to buy a truck. He also had a DC2R and that would be his fun car. On Sept 12th, I became the proud owner of a 2024 CW FL5!
My first stop was to visit my friend’s shop to make an appointment to get PPF for the car. My friend knows this car well because he also has a CW FL5!
That first evening I met up with some friends, and we took two (very different) R’s out for a short cruise.
