Hello!
I picked up my 2025 Sonic Gray Pearl CTR #51933 from a local dealer on 12/30/2025 with 4 miles on the dash! I have decided that I would like to start up an ownership journal to help track everything that will be done to the car including possible mods and maintenance of course. I'm not much of a "modder" so if the aftermarket parts do start rolling in, it will be fairly light and OEM + at most. I tend to hop in and out of different platforms frequently so time will tell how much I enjoy the FL5. Although, the fantastic feel of the 6-speed has got me rather excited so I had to pick one up! This journal may even help a future second owner see the history of the car more clearly.
First order of business was to take off the front plate and the bracket. Mandatory front plates here in Cali however, I haven't had one on any of my vehicles for many years and have yet to have it an issue.
Car was dropped off on Friday for full frontal PPF which in this case includes: front splitter, bumper, headlights, fenders, mirrors, A pillars, and windshield. Also asked the shop to do those gloss black B pillars as they scratch so easily. Window tint and PPF on door edges, door cups, and rear bumper loading area was already done by selling dealer.
I will also be on the look out for any aftermarket wheels for sale preferably in the NorCal area. If you are reading this and have a set you're looking to get rid of, shoot me a message. I may also make a WTB post in the classifieds.
