@Vincent@27WON How did you get your meshes so clean on the 3D scan? We use a FARO arm at work too but it never comes out this clean. You need to share your settings for the laser scan please! I am highly impressed with the R&D work by the way.

Side note - just ordered rear exhaust for my Si sedan. 27WON turbo back should be installed by June 15. I’ll share clips with FB like you guys requested

I was looking around the net for some info on other car types that may have done this type of modification and measured the results. Look at this test ~~~> Test #2 Turbo Inlet
Look at the inside diameter, where it was increased, how much it was increased and the horsepower/torque gained and where they were gained at. Interesting stuff.

@Barett@27WON I thought you'd find this interesting.
BTW: I'm the guy that called you about your prototype and told ya'll I'd purchase it if you decide to scrap the project due to ???Insert Reason Here??? . I meant that too. This is the last piece pre-throttle body that I want to change that is getting under my skin. Thanks again for starting this, despite how long it may take.

Nice Find! The change in Inner Diameter for their Inlet Pipe was pretty minimal. Our target change is much more drastic so it will be interesting to see what we can get out of it.

There are things that dictate the priority of each project, like how much $$$ you can make off of it. What would it take for you to push this project way up in priority for completion much sooner than you had already planned for vs your other projects? As a community, what could we do to make this happen? Thanks!

That's a great question and I appreciate you taking a different perspective.
This is a very involved project and one that take significant resources to develop. Enough resources that we could develop a few other products with relatively same amount of resources as this single product will require. We have to make a decision of how to allocate those resources effectively. A big unknown when developing a new product (especially one that is not typical) is knowing if the demand is really there for it. Now, we have to admit there appears to be a demand, but more clarity on that can always help motivate.
Setting up a group buy is an interesting option because it could show us really how many people in the community are serious.
A simpler method would be by submitting a product request here:

This will tell us who wants us to develop this fully. Get every single person you know that wants this to happen and have them submit a product idea for the turbo inlet pipe.
