Is anyone running tires this size on a new Civic? Any issues?
Im looking to upgrade my stock rims and tires on a 22 Ex.
I can get a killer deal on these Conti DWS06 and was wondering if anyone is running them with 18" oem si wheels. (18 x 8)
I know Honda stock are 235/40r18 for these rims.

I'm not sure why you'd want to go down a narrower tire, but wouldn't you be throwing off your speedo and odometer by going to a smaller diameter tire? It's about 0.6" difference. Your speed would be 58.6 mph at 60 mph indicated.

225 will fit on a 8 inch rim, but it doesn't make much sense when stock is 235/40R18. OP may save 60 USD with each new set of tires. It's counter-intuitive in this case.

I can get a set with 95% thread for $300 cad. This is why I was considering it.
