Only way to get it cheaper is do majority of it yourself how i did they quote minimum 1 hr for just program and thats all i had them do so all in about 800-900 parts+labor

Yes, I was asking my previous question in regards to if someone on these forums worked for Honda in my area and is willing to do it for me. Since the Honda places I called told me that they don’t do it and that it sounds like it only happens if they had a “buddy” as quoted by the service rep.

does replacing the cluster give you the new INDIVIDUAL Settings customization?

i reached out to my local dealership about supporting the cluster swap and they said they wouldn’t, but if it gets this customization i’ll definitely try to make it happen at a diff dealership. thanks in advance!

Yes it does, I have my cluster on sport so I get the red and normal for everything else.

Ok, a few questions:

1. What's the cold call like? Who do you talk to first, sales? Parts and service? Are you guys literally just opening with "Hey, can you swap me to the updated cluster?" Not judging by any means. I'm just trying to make sure I get the best chances for success.
2. I'm the new second owner of a 24 Si. The buttons on my steering wheel already look like that. Is there something different with the new buttons that you can't see from the surface? Or did my predecessor do a partial upgrade and jump ship before getting the cluster?

1. Check with the service department and ask if the swap is something they are willing to do, then proceed to the parts department to order said cluster swap parts.

2. Steering wheel buttons and harness will need to be ordered.
