  1. Steering wheel vibration at hwy speeds (intermittent)

Only the correct alignment was done because of really strong misalignment according to the machine. All 4 wheels were checked and balanced twice. Funny thing is there were no marks on the tires because of the misalignment - other cars would immediately have sawtooth or other type of abrasion...
  2. Long break-in drive

This whole “breaking in” of the engine is a complete joke, it is hard for me to believe anybody is doing this. It is just a fairy tale nothing else. Just change the oil after couple of thousand km to get rid of metal scrapes. Sorry but I see almost daily guys picking up M2 & M4s, and driving the...
  3. Steering wheel vibration at hwy speeds (intermittent)

from what i have been told in the shop FL5 is very sensitive to wheel geometry. Even small things like changing wheels without cleaning the hub can produce vibrations - I mean fractions of a milimeter of rust/dirt. I can attest this personally as I have experienced this with another brand car...
  4. Steering wheel vibration at hwy speeds (intermittent)

Ok the problem is fixed. I went to specialised shop, wheel geometry was fckd up by the dealership while changing the steering gearbox. I mean really fckd up. Right now no vibrations. It seems that FL5 is very sensible to this. Pity that it cost me 300 USD (converted)
  5. Worm Gear recall gone wrong..

They changed the tire, but managed to damage it. Dealerships are hopeless.
  6. Steering wheel vibration at hwy speeds (intermittent)

Have you sorted out the issue already? I am also fighting with this, same symptoms. I have mounted another set of wheels, same story. Dealer contacted Honda about this. Happened after worm gear recall.
  7. Powder coated FL5 OEM Wheels Bronze

They look beautiful, congrats. Clean job. I also have BB, but have chosen the Yamaha purple/violett for my rims. I like mismatched colours. When done I’ll show the pictures.
  8. New tires needed - your take?

I'll try this, thank you for the messages. Europe can be "special" sometimes, and I mean it in a bad way. At least here in Switzerland Honda is very unpopular brand, almost non existent. Dealerships are small and mostly bad. I really envy you the Honda scene in the US. What counts here are...
  9. New tires needed - your take?

Hi there. It seems that I need 2 new tires. I ran PS4S until now. They were fine. I have 2 new ones on the front, on the back they must be changed (see other thread). Question: what do you think about running different brand on the fron and back, lets say Continentals on the back, PS4S on the...
  10. Worm Gear recall gone wrong..

Update: i went to very professional tire service. The front wheels were not torqued properly. They were also not balanced (-15 grams). Honda representative lied once again about balancing the wheels. Still, it didn’t help, vibrations are still there. Once again to the tire shop. Wheels changed...
  11. Worm Gear recall gone wrong..

Update: got the car back. Brand new wheel installed. No other damage. Other problem occured - starting from about 70mph I feel strong vibrations on the steering wheel. Car drives perfectly straight, steering wheel is straight, no other symptoms. I have bad feeling this has something to do with...
  12. Worm Gear recall gone wrong..

Hi! My name is Oidus, and I’m from Europe. I currently own two FL5 - long story. Today I went with one of them to my local Honda dealership for a worm gear recall. I arrived in the morning and spent about four hours there while the whole unit was replaced. Around noon everything was done, hands...
