I've driven the M340i and it feels nowhere as connected, raw, or edgy as the FL5 CTR. The steering is numb but the ride is much softer, even on Msport suspension. The stiffest setting on Msport is like comfort mode in the CTR.
However, credit where credit is due. The M340i launches like a bat...
Hi, I have an unused OEM all weather trunk mat with the Type R. MSRP is $133. Asking $100 for a local sale in metro Atlanta. Might not be worth it to ship as the box it came is not small.
The ITS with Cup2s could get closer to the CTR time in the context of similar weather, same driver, etc. and other factors. I'm might impressed with the Lucid and the Dark Horse.
It is unlikely a Honda dealer will let you test drive one. However, you can see if there is a FL5 CTR at a nearby Carmax or you can go to the Acura dealer and see if they have an ITS to test drive.
Share a similar sentiment. Even with the markup I paid, my CTR was a few grand less than the ITS at MSRP. I still like the ITS and I do not think it is being over-produced.
Phil Hughes Honda, in Athens, Georgia has a CW coming soon.
MSRP + $5,000 ADM + $1,594 in accessories. Will sell only within Georgia.
I think the ADM can be negotiated and possibly out of state as well.
I test drove the EN before buying the CTR. I was impressed at its capabilities and the value it offers for the price tag. My two complaints with it were the seats being a little too firm for me and the exhaust being comically rowdy.
If the CTR/ITS did not exist, then I would pick the EN over...
