My FC4’s name was Scarlett (under the purple wrap it was Rallye Red). The FE1 is Eramis. I typically don’t refer to them as their names though, but instead as their chassis code.
I noticed this loveliness this morning. It was not there last night, and no one else besides me has touched the car since then. It almost feels like wrap. I’ll be taking it to Honda in the next few weeks, but first I want to see if any other places will do this. I looked at the rest of the trim...
Didn’t necessarily do anything the last three days, but this weekend I slapped on some Silver’s NeoMax Coilovers with Swift Springs on the Si. TSP got it to my door really quick.
Need to install some rear camber and toe arms but I’ll eventually get to it.
Have you tried soapy water and a straight blade (NOT carbide, please use stainless) on the inside and out? The blade will glide across the glass. I'm just curious here. Having an imperfection in the glass isn't unheard of, but that one in particular is pretty long and makes me think maybe it's...
Hope it goes well. Here is a copy of the warranty if you don’t already have it!

This is completely normal. Give it up to 2 weeks to fully adhere to the glass. The heat will evaporate the excess water. After 2 weeks is the final, “cured” film. If your tint has been on longer than 2 weeks, then that is the final look. Taking it off and re-applying the film will not achieve a...
So, I actually got my Si tinted today! I looked into the back windshield/third brake light atea and there’s a gap more than large enough for them to slide the film through. No disassembly required. This is also valid for the Type R. So, it will cover the brake light, but it’s not so much that...
Little update on the Si. Guess this will be my build thread until I make a proper one. In the past (almost) two weeks, the following have been installed:
- DC Sports Frontpipe + Catback
- RV6 Retro Flywheel w/ Stage 0 Clutch Kit
- Hybrid Racing Shift Linkage Bushings
- PRL High Volume Intake
-...
I’d think it would be very similar to the 10th gen. I guess the question becomes more of “should I?” rather than “can I?”. To me it doesn’t make much sense to disassemble all of that for full coverage over the light. I can understand wanting that though. To each their own. :p
I’ve worked for a tint shop in the past. Of course, every shop and installer is different, but what they did for my 10th gen (and I would assume for the 11th gen) is they shrunk the film to the glass, sprayed foaming glass cleaner around it, then put a flashlight behind it. After that, they get...
There is likely a fuse, but I can’t say I’ve explored that yet. Might be on tomorrow’s agenda if I get bored enough.
Most aftermarket kits I’d assume would be just plug and play. The center shifter cover area would have to be removed to access the ports, but that’s all of a 2 minute clip...
