Got the car back. Unfortunately, there's no satisfying conclusion here. They basically said bring it back when it happens again. I can't blame them for not tearing down a transmission that appears to be working on a new car lol. Will update when/if it happens again
It's just one very vocal yet barely literate attention seeker haha. Most people have been pretty nice. Anyway, the car is at the dealer, so I'll update once I get it back. I doubt they'll do anything, but at least I have the complaint on record.
This only grinded the one time, so hopefully it doesn't end up like that haha.

I'd love for a technical explanation of what operator error could cause this issue. Every car forum always has a guy that thinks there are 0 issues with their favorite car. Here's a thread where I was the very first person to have an issue that turned out to be a factory defect which someone...
You could be right, either way I don't think there's going to be good news...
As far as the gear skipping discussion above, I've never done any of that to first gear. I'll only shift to first at a stop or like 3 mph or less. Upshifting I usually don't skip either, but that's not relevant to...
I had some time, so I decided to investigate a little. Nothing blocking the cables near the transmission. I tried manually changing the gears on the tranny side with no luck. The bigger shifter arm thingy on the front side easily goes into every gear but first. I even disconnected the cable that...
