gotcha, you must be ign. limited. do you have an idea as to how much power your putting down, on a custom 91 tune I'm guessing around 200hp because of Vits post? I thought it would be much more.

also the CVT is limited by torque over HP, so a turbo upgrade will increase the HP then a DP will see gains... but do you really want to push more than 250hp 220 tq in a CVT? dp won't see any gains without turbo. a tune can do the same thing.

CVT or DP restriction? on a custom tune, ktuner through VITtuned on 93 octane will a Downpipe give you worthwhile gains that won't exceed the limits of our CVT? not trying to spend money on unnecessary parts here guys.

I thought the turbo was the restriction so you can still improve HP with a DP on a custom tune and high octane? just trying to set the record straight here.

your CVT right? so are you doing catless for performance..I was under the impression that the CVT is maxed out on a custom tune alone. that any gains seen by a DP could just as well be requested from boost

I never said anything about a tune though? I said an exhaust ALONE won't add an increase (it can but with our car very little). DP will, THEN exhaust will more, re read my post. but not exhaust alone. also like I stated, you won't gain advertised numbers just by adding those parts to your car...

also for people who don't understand, total horsepower of your car is not simply adding advertised gains from each different performance parts.

a turbo is not an intercooler. your not going to magically see these gains by installing, no tune required means its plug and play, doesn't mean you will see gains without modifications. if you modify your exhaust you won't see gains either, if you modify your Downpipe you will, if you modify...
