Both unfortunately. I figured it would require a little more effort in certain directions but the massive reduction would really help me, as with the adjustments.
Appreciate your info!
Man, didn't see the shifting video first......that would help me on the track and the street tremendously.
The throw is so short it would really help on days I'm down to one arm.
So who's gonna buy all my BNIB Acuity parts? lol
Wow! That's amazing!
This stuff has been sitting since spring, not your fault!
All BNIB still!
I'd totally take ya up on that deal but I think only a few items came from you guys directly. I'd need to check my receipts.
If I really want it I may just need to try to sell the stage 2 kit, short...
Appreciate the write up!
Darn, that looks amazing. I still have the entire Stage 2 Acuity kit & pedal relocate still sitting in the box brand new.
I only ever put on the shift lever bushings on the transmission side.
After countless competitions and about 5,000 miles of street work I'm about...
Awesome! Hopefully they can do mine similar, I'm sure they're very busy.
My wife drives my car hard aswell and I take my unit out of the car when I'm satisfied with the tune also.
Only comes out when needed.
What's even weirder is my KContol spikes are intermittent now..... I'll have similar...
Appreciate the feedback! Guess it shows the variation in KContol per vehicles as Derek indicated. When you have cars sitting at the minimum value and never moving, others moving appropriately, & some like mine which seem to be very sensitive.
Mine is now behaving closer to how yours is even on...
Any chance once you get done with your current orders I could have my maps setup like Charles and I were discussing?
I usually run my "hottest" map as #1 as well.
Thank you
Yes sir! In KTuner you can set it right from the steering wheel for on the fly adjustment. I clutch in 1st and just put the pedal to the floor, just the let the clutch go and you are off! This map starts off at 3500RPM but you can adjust. I was using 2500RPM launch before but with this map...
You are correct, just got back from a run to the bank and had to give a modded Pontiac Soltice turbo a go.....70F,damp roads, Map #3 and Sport mode on.
Launch control rocketed me off but VSA cut and light were on for just a bit on the 1-2 upshift allowing him to get closer until "Insta Boost"...
Yeah it's strange the VSA didnt appear all weekend where it usually would and on launches. Hell of a launch with this map!
Today in the rain it was cutting power & flashing at me the traction light.
So not sure? Really hope the button turns everything off like the pedal dance
Can't get an...
Mine spiked initially too but is now getting better every time I turn the car on! Had to run an errand real quick and was really beating on it to see what it did after it warmed up......my KControl came down to 0.51
Awesome to hear your comparison to Vit's Stage 1!
Can't wait to see you at the...
Lunch run was a blast! Datalogging as all ways.
67F Ambient, cool & raining....KControl started at 0.68 after this mornings Sports mode pulls. Left Map #3 on & Sport mode Off, interested to see how the VSA works in the rain.
Did some fast paced city driving home using small amounts of boost in...
@ParkwayDrive13
He has the TSP Stage 1 tune in Kansas City where they have good quality 93 octane, believe he also has Vit's Stage 1 tune.
Hopefully he can give you a good comparison, especially with high octane fuel!
I do agree. It's a pain if you don't want to leave the KTuner in the vehicle. Mine did not like 106F+ heat!
I figured for the price it's not bad at all just to try and I could always go back to my custom 19.5/23 map.
But you ain't getting this tune until it comes out of my cold fingers! lol...
I don't think there is any concern. As Rob mentioned the variations in vehicles, possibility of ultra sensitive knock sensors & gas are a big contributor.
The other poster who had higher KC seems to have cleared their issue up with better gas but did not list info/KControl values.
My issue...
