yeah, I need to get that controller also.
I have to admit, I am so confused still on how the oem valve works...like does it only open in sport and +R mode and only opens at certain rpms...
and does it open differently in +R compared to sport or is it the same? lol
dang, I had the exact same issue with spoon on the fk8. I was hoping that wouldn't be the same deal for the fl5.
At this rate, I prob won't bother with springs...which is hard for me to do, I always lower my car lol.
Prokit gave me noise issues on the fk8, Swift was great, but toooo stiff...
good to know. you reminded me something I noticed about my milltek I had on my FK8, it had a similar flow issue due to the muffler. So maybe beyond stock power it won't be that great. I mention that only because of the vid I saw where it provided no gain or loss in power on the dyno for the FL5:
Same here lol. I do like MXP look. I e owned that before also and it was great quality. But canister type mufflers never sound as good as those on Remus, milltek etc.
I've owned both on my previous fk8. Imo, AWE is not of great quality. Milltek is slightly better than AWE as for quality, but not the greatest.
I know I'm not helping much, but maybe try and wait for Remus? I've had that on my fk8 and it was one of my favorites.
Sorry, I was making assumptions that you guys had only tested the pervious versions of the FK8 ecus when you said getting the calibration from the ECU.
I didn't realize you guys tested it on the 2019s.
The OP just sounded like he was having a similar issue that hondata users were having prior...
Man, I'm not sure what you're saying...the ECU was different between the 2019 and previous models from what we're seeing.
But basically, you are saying that all your calibrations were tested on all versions of the FK8 ECUs.
Edit: Appears this confirms it...assuming that it was tested that A21...
So ktuner's calibrations never had any issues or needed to be update for the 2019 CTR's with A21 ECUs?
I thought it was something that needed to be updated for the software, regardless if you used hondata or ktuner...meaning something was slightly different about the A21 ECUs (pressure ratio...
