  1. HEL cooler, Did I bite off to much 😂

I have the Honda Dual Horn upgrade, which AFAIK is the same thing and/or same part number as the Euro Horn. The Part number is 08P80-T60-000. Sounds the way it should have from the factory imo.
  2. OH Boy, Here We Gooooo....

Money well-spent, the car will be transformed
  3. HEL cooler, Did I bite off to much 😂

While you're waiting and have access to the core support etc, I'd highly recommend swapping the horns out for the Honda Euro/Dual Horn or anything other than the pathetic stock horns lol
  4. Vinyl Repair Recs

Congratulations! Glad you were able to get this sorted out and with perfect results! Gives me confidence that it is possible do get it done without issues. I ordered the alcantara wheel myself yesterday from College Hills Honda.
  5. PointByPatrol #21985 Build Journal! RIP #9243

Gotcha, thank you! I never had the Ti frontpipe on mine, I bought my Remark Ti from someone who had put just a few hundred miles on it and I was given the brand new SS frontpipe with it as his Ti pipe had failed. So I never got to experience the full Ti system and have wondered about the sound...
  6. PointByPatrol #21985 Build Journal! RIP #9243

Any thoughts on the new exhaust sound since going to the SS front pipe? Did it impact the sound of the turbo spool down for you at all?
  7. FS: New Genuine JDM Alcantara Shift Boot - SOLD

I bought the last one of these that popped up and swapped the boot over to the USDM frame. There are a couple small differences between the USDM and JDM boots, but nothing you can't work around. It looks so good now, much better than the shitty pleather!
  8. Anyone Done Horns Yet?

I installed the Honda Euro Horn kit and it's so much better, as it should have been from the factory on the R.
  9. 2.0L Can I engine swap my car and if so what engines?

Trade your car in, engine swapping can of course be done, but would be cost prohibitive for what you're after. No point.
  10. Fumoto Valve- F106?

One of the few things I miss about my GR86 is the top mounted oil filter and oil drain access panel that only required two screws to be removed and one loosened. The FL5 oil change is a much bigger pain in the ass in comparison.
  11. Wagner Intercooler

Looks nice, but it seems entirely too large for the vast majority of applications. In addition, it basically covers the entire radiator and will feed heated air to the whole radiator core, no thank you.
  12. Tire Sizing for 19" Wheels

Do you happen to know if anyone has gone up to a 35 series tire on the stock rim? Seems like that would help fill in the wheel well better on stock springs while providing a little more of a compliant ride.
  13. What did you do to your FL5 today?

It was $1030 total for the DP plus 4 Ti studs with shipping. That was with the CivicXI discount code which saved me about $50 off the total. I have a $20 TSP reward point coupon as well, but the system wouldn’t allow me to use it on top of the CivicXI discount code. ?
  14. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Ordered TSP downpipe today, just too bad I won’t see it till April ?
  15. FL5 Type R vs DE5 Integra Type S | Savagegeese

May give that a shot then.
  16. FL5 Type R vs DE5 Integra Type S | Savagegeese

AFAIK, you have to be in +R mode to get all the traction control and electronic nannies to shut off completely. But in +R mode you are stuck with the fake sound. I think it sounds terrible and I don't want it on in any mode. That's my reasoning.
  17. FL5 Type R vs DE5 Integra Type S | Savagegeese

Yeah I'd also be worried about breaking the vent section. Does anyone know for sure if dropping the glove box will allow enough access to unplug the sound module?
  18. FL5 Type R vs DE5 Integra Type S | Savagegeese

I'd pull my dash vent panel to access and disconnect the fake sound module but the soft-touch foam/vinyl is incredibly easy to permanently dent/mark/damage. Don't want to risk it. Sucks because I hate the fake noise, it's one of the worst trends in automotive history IMO.
  19. Those with aftermarket exhausts..

Did my install at work(an airport) and stored the oem exhaust in a storage/maintenance hangar.
