  1. Official CHAMPIONSHIP WHITE FL5 Type R Photos Thread

I felt like ever since I added the Mugen exterior parts, it's made the car look slightly more wide and the wheels appeared to sit a bit more tucked in given the Mugen MF10's are +45 off-set. I added 5MM spacers today morning and this was much needed.
  2. Update: Civic Type R HRC Concept revealed at 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon

That's basically what it is, a Type-R with Acuity and RV6 parts on it.
  3. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

Hopefully you'll be fine, but I think most report the leak after driving, but I could be wrong.
  4. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

They say to do the one on the driver side because of the seal, but I did both sides just to relief pressure when lowering down the knuckle assembly.
  5. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

That tool, plus some PB Blaster type of lube, dead blow hammer, decent size pry bar, loosen the axle nut, and patience. When you insert that tool in and spread the knuckle open leave it in there until you see some progress.
  6. Can anyone help? FL5 HVAC controls... What other parts/cars can I get a replacement from?

I have that entire control unit. Shoot me a message and I will give you more details on it.
  7. Spoon Sports Front Stiff Plate

Great mod I have one installed also, but when you pair this stiffening plate with the rigid collars and springs... the car transforms and responds to steering input way better.
  8. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

It helps to have the knuckle spreader tool. I used something similar to this and I purchased it from my local O'Rilley...
  9. 🔴💊 Engine Oil Red Pill Thread: Only Post If You Have UOA - Official Honda Civic Type R K20C1 Engine Oil Analysis

A little off topic, but this is my Spoon oil filter cut open. This filter had approximately 2000 miles on it. The internal magnets do work. The Spoon drain plug looked about the same or a bit less. I’ll see how the new Spoon oil filter looks after another 2000 miles. My car just clocked 4000 miles.
  10. What did you do to your FL5 today?

How long did you wait for the intercooler? I have one on order and I paid the $100 to have the logo removed so hopefully they don't forget. What did you use to remove the logo?

  13. Supposed idle issues with aftermarket intake airbox?

The Cobb intake idled normal when I had it installed. I got the revised air box, but I still haven't installed it.
  14. Official CHAMPIONSHIP WHITE FL5 Type R Photos Thread

They had a sale on the front lip also? I thought it was limited amount of accessories and such. My next move is having the side skirts and front lip polished out and PPF. It does come with a tad bit of swirls and such or maybe mine did, but I also think its the way its packaged. It's not as...
  15. Official CHAMPIONSHIP WHITE FL5 Type R Photos Thread

The installation isn't bad at all. The templates they provide makes sense once you start sticking them on to drill the required sections. It took me about 6 hours to do the rear bumper garnish and front lip, and 5 hours to do the side skirts the following day and this is taking my sweet ass time...
  16. Official CHAMPIONSHIP WHITE FL5 Type R Photos Thread

Mugen Group A in Berlina Black. The only thing I'm waiting for now is the Mugen spoiler to eventually get released in the first quarter of 2026.
  17. Front Strut Bar

Did any of you feel a difference? I read mixed reviews since the strut towers are right by the firewall. I been eye-balling the Cusco for a while.
  18. Cobb Redline Intake and Intercooler Released

Cobb overnighted me the new airbox with a return label to send the old one back. The new design does eliminate the bottom section I got mine in yesterday, but they sent it with a new MAF housing since my bracket and bolts left the chat.
