Don't be too sensitive my friend! I simply state that some people will change to the new car just for the fun of having the new thing. Life is like that. Honda does only small improvements on successful products. Look at their history cars ;-)
Sadly? The current type R is a blast to drive and it dominates the completion having more power. I don't see this as an issue at all. The next type R will be more refine and I assume performance wise will be equal to the competition. OFC it will be surpassed but nevertheless it will be a good...
I'm not surprised at all! Honda is optimizing the investment on this platform. I'm expecting a bump of 5 to 10 hp and +5lb of torque. Honda is a conservative company. Look at their past and you'll see what I'm saying.
Not a fair comparison...on one side you have a commuter car...and on the other, the "racing" car...I will wait to see the 11th gen Type R and judge after.
People will go crazy with this numbers! They will probably say...I will no longer buy a Honda...blablabla...and nevertheless you'll see a mark-up on Type-R!
Hahahah
I hope you all have learned that Honda is a conservative company that does small increases of power on it's engines.
10th gen 1.5l=174hp
11th gen 1.5l= 180hp (+3.4%)
This will be the same for type R and Si. Expect a +10hp to +15Hp max of power increase on the Type R.
Tell me...where are you? I'm an early adopter! ;-)
If I think about it...I'm late majority perhaps? I'm thinking about buy an ICE car...??? hahaha
Joke guys...is a JOKE!
People...every single generation the same comments are say...don't like it...ugly, blah blah blah...every single...one....and you'll see...after you see them on the road and your eye starts to accustom to it, people will like it. Typical humans and their difficulty with change....
Very happy with the design. I'm also not surprised about the engine power increase. Typical Honda (+6hp). Expect the same increase for the Type R and Si!
