i'm torn - it does look good but since there's a lack of other CF bits it doesn't seem as cohesive as a total package to me. the price really does seem reasonable though if someone wants it.
funny about the red carpets attracting men. so many guys get a car to attract women but end up attracting dudes instead. funny how you learned that in the first 2 days haha. i think some folks will like it, especially the honda racing historians. red-everything interiors look good on some...
$72k civic is a lot but the added warranties could be added to any car. the ADM is the only painful part but right now you do kinda have to pay to play. I paid $2k over for an Si in Feb '22 and $20k over for a GT4 in June. Lame but a lot of the "we don't charge markup" dealerships don't get...
i've canceled several extended warranties because i ended up not keeping the car past the original warranty period. they pro-rate it a bit typically. some people like the piece of mind and some people actually get their money back out of the warranty. i'd never talk someone out of the...
i forgot about another one, Matt Castrucci .. .i went in and asked about the car. the poor salesman couldn't even look me in the eyes when he was telling me about the markups. lol. i know he didn't make the rule but i couldn't help but to laugh as i walked out.
maybe our idea of recent and low mileage are different lol. gotta go pretty old and pretty high mileage on a 911 to get it below $100k. 3-4 years ago i was eyeing a lease turn-in 991 Turbo for $140k. Sure wish i had jumped on that. The Carreras +/- S were in the $80s and a great value.

yeah they do a good job reviewing infotainments and generally have nice video editing but overall i'm not a fan and unsubbed as well. i started getting annoyed with too much whining asking for subs, sounded desperate. i know it's a necessary evil but still i got tired of and also lack of...
through in a 3/4 diesel tow rig and can't ask for much more! love the GT4 but sure wish it had front axle lift .... had to make custom ramps to get the car into my driveway. ha!
S4 or S5 are nice options for man with a couple small kids. not sure if your kiddos are in the rear-facing seats or not but yeah, those things are huge. I went with the M3 for my kid-hauler when they were in the rear-facing seats. i did a few track days here and there with the F80s and they...
what do you think about the A4 you drive?
I had a 2016 S3 which was a lot of fun for around town and in traffic. with a tune it was zippy. The size was easy to drive and i thought it looked pretty nice. On the track it was too quiet and really under-steery. i took it to thunderhill one...
z06 is a total animal. i'm on a couple lists trying to get one.
i currently drive a 718 GT4 which i love (manual trans, bucket seats)... it's a beautifully made car that ticks a lot of the right boxes. the Z06 will have an extra dose of drama which i crave and be much faster. without a manual...
tell you what, if y'all ever go on track, make sure you turn all the collision mitigation stuff off... my GR86 panicked even when i had put it into TRACK mode as i was coming up behind someone doing ~100mph. seems like track mode should be automatic to turn that off!
back on topic though...
Local dealership in Ohio said $7500 markup. i like this car, but not sure i like it THAT much. sure is crazy seeing $20k at some dealerships as that's what the markup was on my GT4 i got recently. always painful but for a $115k MSRP car i could (barely) stomach it especially as the naturally...
things like scotchgard might be a good way to help protect the carpet. i'm definitely going to be covering as much red as i can because my wife hates it, ha! i know it's a classic honda thing so i'm okay with it but it's a lot of red even for me.
i think avoidance would be the best thing and...
based on the "news" i figured this car was still a solid 6mo out with the complete absence of real information. glad to see units showing up but still not getting my hopes up too far. love the efforts from those collecting/sharing data!
i'm almost as excited about this car as I am the ZO6 ...
thanks for sharing your experiences with the car! i'm coming form a camaro SS1LE most recently as my track car (track days with Chin, HOD etc) ... waiting on a C8 ZO6 or GT4 allocation but i'm thinking of running the Si for a couple of events ... looking to do brake pads and tires to have...
