With manuals only coming to the hatch, CTR and Si, it only makes sense the Si would be a hatch which would mean manuals were exclusive to the hatches. Why would they make only one sedan a manual?
I'm also waiting on the hatchback reveal. Fingers crossed it isn't as bland as the sedan. Really hoping the Si comes in a hatchback variant. That would be an insta-buy for me. The HB camo images do look promising.
One thing I don't see talked about and it was one of the first things I thought of when I saw it. The exhaust being integrated into the rear the way it is. This is going to limit after market exhaust setups.
I’m really hoping for a hatchback Si. Outside of that, I’m sure they’ll keep the HP and torque specs similar to the 10th gen to keep the CTR their true top end model. I’m sure they don’t want to close that gap between the Si and CTR that much. Especially with the price difference.
Oh. One more thing. It’d be nice to have the rev match system the CTR has. With the Corolla hatchback having rev match, this seems like an easy implementation.
Agreed on your second point. Korea is coming out with some really nice interior dash/infotainment designs in their Hyundai's. Honda seems to be lacking on this front.
as long as they increase the screen size, I’ll be fine with it. Doubt they’d go widescreen, but that would be sexy. CarPlay on a widescreen (ie the Mazda 3) looks great.
