The fk8 crowd on civicx is already showing their jealousy of the new and improved. I don't blame them, they think "polarizing" is the new glam word for ugly. But this always happens on foruns when a updated model comes out.
nonsense. Tuning it by u yourself will reduce so call "liability". And i think you meant to say "reliability".
If honda puts out a fl5 with more power, I'm confident they would also make sure it's reliable as well, it's a honda after all.
I was waiting on a pic comparing the old to new. Did not disappoint OP. Thank you kindly.
Also it's like seeing an eg followed by an ek.:confused1:
I've been driving Hondas for 20+ years and people that have grinding issues and are original owner is bc they shift to fast. Learn to drive, don't shift it like need for speed. Synchro need to catch up. Honda doesn't make weak transmissions, bad drivers just ruin it and blame the car. Half new...
Contacted them, was rejected bc I'm not local and don't have a trade in + finance. Offered to finance but not good enough. Really sucks being a CA resident sometimes, not everybody lives in the bay making bank ?
Fk8 was 7 seconds faster nurburgring compared to fk2 and had independent rear suspension. So how am I wrong again that the newer type r's are always faster and better than the predecessor?
Honda has always improved the type r model after model. It's only natural for fk8 owners to be jealous of the new, new and try to downplay it. I guarantee this type r will be faster and better.
I appreciate how Honda listened and addressed every issue with the new and improved ctr.
Fake vents? Gone.
Oversized 20" rims? Wide 19's instead.
Overheat? Dual front vents moved forward.
Red pin stripes? Peeled off.
Ricer body kit? Accord front end.
Honda just ruffled up alot of fk8 feathers ?
