I called up a dealer and they told me the same, they'll call me up when they have further info. I called around other dealerships, then found one 4hrs away from me which was taking deposits for pre booking. So I paid.
Oh yes. Even if they deliver it early next year, I'll only take the delivery of it in spring, I'm not putting it through the winter as soon as it touches ground.
Oh man. Now when you put it like that it makes me feel completely hopeless. I hope you're proven wrong somehow and everyone who put a deposit down for a pre booking gets their CTR without an insane markup.
Do you have a source to back up that claim? That one post on this website which said Canada is only getting 540 something CTR spread over three years is based entirely on a rumor. All I can say is that I would believe something as insane as this only if Honda puts it out there.

I am pretty sure the previous gen CTR was available in the blue color when it came out in 2020. If I remember correctly, Throttle house and Straight Pipes reviewed the CTR in that blue back then.
Creating this thread for everyone in Canada to check in and connect to discuss CTR pre bookings in every province and share dealer prices when they are released. Gotta avoid markups as much as possible.
Just put in a 1k deposit for a Boost Blue Type R at a dealer in Ontario. Had to shop around and talk to a few dealerships to find who was actually taking pre bookings. People from Ontario, lets check in and connect, so that once the prices are announced, we can compare the prices our dealers...
Being in Canada, you can only own a RWD as a summer car. I was really interested in getting the 2023 BMW M2 as a summer only car, and drive my 2.5k+kms Accord during the winter, but I expect it to cost an arm and a leg. Thinking realistically, the new CTR would be a great DD that can be driven...
