  1. Cooling mods for the average Joe

You're smart for holding off and waiting for the hard lagged hybrid versions. They also last much longer than the standard exhaust wrapped material and form fitting ones. This setup works so well for the FL5 that I offer a PTP combo package. I've got 2 left at the moment if anyone wants a set...

  4. '23 FL5 10K Miles - Gear Shifting sounds clunky and can feel in passenger floorboard

I believe he damaged both driver and passenger axles and messed up his car pretty bad since he drove it at high speeds like that before getting it into the dealer. It's currently still at Honda waiting to get repaired. Spoke with my buddy who is the svc advisor over there today and waiting for...
  5. Cooling mods for the average Joe

Absolutely, that's why I highly recommend the hard lagged ones for using on and off the track to assist in lowering engine bay temps and to help mitigate heat soak. If it helps getting more seat time in on the track it's a win win in my book. Lolz
  6. Cooling mods for the average Joe

I'm currently running the PTP Hybrid Downpipe Blanket on my TSP catted downpipe, and surface temps stay impressively low—under 90°F, verified with a laser temp gun. If you're planning to retain the factory turbo heat shield or install an aftermarket hardlagged shield like the one from Dream...

  15. 2.0L Vivid Racing Titanium Exhaust (FL5)

Which exhaust kit did you go with?
  16. 2.0L Vivid Racing Titanium Exhaust (FL5)

You're absolutely right! 500HP FL5s running the stock exhaust (paired with the right bolt-ons and a proper tune) perform flawlessly and still sound surprisingly good. If you're looking for a budget-friendly way to deepen the exhaust note, removing the smaller resonator is a solid option. Just...
