:agree:
This above statement is right on the money in my observation so far. I wish you could have told us earlier. Bounciness above 12 clicks are beginning to get noticeable and not ideal - I'm not willing to compromise soft ride vs bounciness.
For my set up, 11 - 12 clicks are my...
I do not post anything in IG, here is the latest update that I did to FL5 this week :

Ohlins will give you a little bit drop, not too much. Just enough, not being too aggressive ... Here is the side picture of Ohlins on its recommended settings :
I never scrape on my driveway :headbang:
After weeks of taking parts delivery, manage to spend some time to install the following :
- DBA 4000 (T3) Rotors - both Front & Rear
- Project Mu PS brake pads - both Front & Rear
- Carbon Fiber EPR Front Lip & Carbon Fiber APR Rear Bumper Skirts Add-On
- Mugen LED hydrophilic mirrors &...
This is great news, thanks for the update. I'm sure it will help people who has similar issues.
I'm loving my Gruppe M, actually I like the 'whooossshhh' better than PRL in my FK8. And I'm being objective here ;)
Just confirmed that APR engine bay cover will interfere with Gruppe M secondary air path side, so if you want to make it work, need to cut a bit of carbon fiber. Decided not to proceed :banghead:.
Hahhhahahaa, I asked the same questions to myself. Especially, the knob is at the bottom (not the top, I got confused ... LOL). But if you tried both ways, you will find that : if you turn clockwise all the way, you will stop (unable to turn anymore). This is firmest setting at ZERO click. Then...
We are getting old ... LOL
I would not call it more compliant ride, I will call it firm but not uncomfortable. It is definitely better than FL5 OEM shock suspension (even with ITS ADS). I think we need to calibrate ourselves on our expectation of Type R ride. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry to hear that, my experience is more positive than yours. I just change my settings to 14 clicks in front and 12 click in rear. The ride is firm but comfortable, it soaked the bump very well on normal street & highway driving; off course I lost a bit of sharpness but it's always a trade...
Yes, I can adjust the click with wheels on the car (front & rear), no need to take the wheels off. I got used to do it now, I can do it within 10 seconds or less per wheels. Very convenient.
I'm switching back and forth on wheels (between FL5 Accessory Wheels & Volk Racing ZE40), both wheels...
It is definitely an upgrade from stock suspension. No regret in pulling the trigger; the only regret is maybe I should go for TTX version (higher level than DFV). Because I only can imagine if I have ability to set 3 ways on the suspension, must be a dream.
It is firm but not uncomfortable...
Was busy at work, apology of not able to answer the queries earlier.
I think you will need to tune it after install. My experience has been great because I did several iteration of tuning with Phearable. I don't think spending another $99 is not un-reasonable to get the most out of Gruppe M...
Sakebomb top hats have subtle 'clunk', but I only hear it when I really looking for it. In normal driving, barely noticeable. No issues from me on this.
For pre-load and height, I did set at recommended settings. The car drop a bit with approx. 1 finger gap in the front and 1.5 finger gap in...
