Let me break this down one more way for you. Let's say you smoke, you go get some tests done and they tell well your lungs look a little black but they aren't bad yet and you don't have lung cancer, Does that mean smoking isnt bad for YOU since YOU don't have cancer yet?
Where have I degraded you, Ive asked you to not spread false information about VTA BOVs. Ive been very civil towards you. Your datalogs even prove the car runs rich on shifts and transients so Im not sure why you are mad at me when your own data proves you wrong. MAP sensor has nothing to do...
:banghead:Ok continue to plug your ears ignore the facts and the science. You can run it all you want, but don't be telling people its fine, when its not. We have numerous members who had stalling and CELs in our Facebook group from running it. :dunno:
So your answer to my questions is to question me? Again, do you know what a VTA BOV is actually for? Yes, you are spreading false info, in no way shape or form is this good for your good.
But since Im here, Ill address your question, anybody that knows anything about MAF car will tell you...
False info. Everytime you release that air to the atmosphere you are doing harm to your car. Do you know what a BOV is actually for? Why are you running one? There is literally nothing good that can come from running a vta bov on a MAF car.
you do you, thats your choice and your car and Im not one to tell anyone what to do......I can hear the bpv opening and sending air back into the system. So I hear spool and bypass and its very noticeable. Ill grab another vid after work
With that said, just dont be telling people its good...
um yeah, ive had it both ways, and ok so maybe the bov is slightly louder its also much worse for you car. and if you can safely replicate the sound, why risk it?
8 yr warranty with a blow off valve on the car...lol cmon bro. Your going to throw codes, take it in and they are going to laugh at you. YOu cant ecpect your warranty to cover any engine issue you have when you run a VTA BOV for thousands and thousands of miles
DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR CIVIC, We are MAF based, you cant tune for it, you cant switch to MAP based, you cant run speed density. Do not put a VTA BOV on your Civic, whether base SI or Type R.
yeah, Ive thought about. I have ktuner as well and here in Texas I can get away with one sensor marked as "not ready" Always passed my 8th gen with race header.
