  1. 23’ Type-R IAT readings seem high?

You are fine. At idle and not moving the car gets hot, once you start moving it drops down fast.
  2. Type R Untuning itself?

I was Phearable tuned but decided to go jester tuned when I got my downpipe. I have not once looked back. Car runs better and is smoother, I also like his linear power delivery a lot more, instead of all the torque slamming in your face down low it’s linear and helps the differential pull you...
  3. How can you get the FL5 to leave hard in first gear with out wheel hopping?

You need a RMM to prevent it. I believe the PRL RMM is the most daily friendly, the other options from HaSport and 27won are more stiff but have even less wheel hop I believe. The RMM improved shifter feel and 1-2 shifts.
  4. Should I have an alignment done?

You don’t need an alignment unless you are having improper wear especially with a car so new. If you want to do an alignment because you do autox/track pull the camber pins on the top of the struts for additional negative camber.
  5. Saint Charles, IL Body Shop

Yeah I hear they do, contact them first if they do lip installs though. They usually do mechanical work and dyno tunes with tuners.
  6. PRL HVI Plus Duct gains?

Colder IAT but the more beneficial part is more flow to the intake box. This will help on larger turbo application I believe.
  7. Who is getting tuned on the dyno?

People are still getting dyno tunes, Derek Robinson at IMW tunes (along many other tuners) on his own dyno and virtually on other shop's dynos if the customer is not local to him. A lot of tuners now also offer e-tunes like JesterTuned or IMW. Our cars are able to log the AFR (I believe its...

  12. Swift vs Eibach Pro-Kit

Yep no problem man! Going to be tackling this install tomorrow on my car so I have done quite a bit of research haha. I made a list of stuff I will need and torque specs from searching around. Please feel free to correct any if you notice anything wrong. They should all be right though. sway...
  13. Swift vs Eibach Pro-Kit

    Yep! I found the video!
  14. Swift vs Eibach Pro-Kit

I actually saw a video of someone just sliding the dust boot up with the wheel off and cutting it on the car. I assume they did the 20mm cut and then just cut it in half and took it off, they never removed the shock.
  15. FL5 (BS?) Autocross Thread

I believe the only way is you have to brake first and then get on the throttle after.
  16. DIY: FL5 Lowering Spring Install for Civic Type R [Step By Step]

How did you prevent the axle from slipping out? Any tips? I saw a few people had it fall out on them.
  17. There’s a Reason Honda Made Active Exhaust, Don’t Disable

I have an ITS and I believe my valve is open all of the time in Sport+. I do not really notice an issue in power delivery between modes at low rpm.
