MAP has fantastic service and products but so does TSP. The reason (I think) that the TSP tune gets all the hype is that not only is it a great tune but is was created by Derek Robinson (currently the top dog tuner for the 10th gen).
As far as the MAP tune I haven't...
As far as disabling boost ramp it will change the feel of the tune drastically. I'm not sure how realistic it is using that on a daily driver and I'm sure it's not great in terms of clutch wear and tear on your Si.
You totally missed the gist of my post. It was a joke. I was referring to how phallic the pipe looked in the pics and joking about Matt saying the pics had him "excited".
I totally understand they are prototypes and 27Won does good stuff.
Sheesh.
You're right, there are no topics dealing with this at all. ;) Do a little bit more searching and you'll find plenty of information on CVT's and tuning.
To get you started, here's a good place to get some hands on CVT turbo non-Si Ktuner info...
With TSP working on a tune for us CVT turbo guys, I had a couple questions. I know you still have the 3 on the fly tunes with tune 3 as the custom TSP tune (that setup is perfect for me by the way). And I assume tune 3 is locked and not tweakable...
But what about tune 1 and 2? Are all the...
JR, I haven't downloaded the latest update yet but have a question about it. In your version history for the latest software update it says "Updated Key Off/On Process To Be Smoother".
What exactly is the new key off/on process?
Thanks.
PRL, what do you mean by the constant replacement of dry filters? I've vacuumed and cleaned my AEM DryFlow filters in several cars for years and they seem as good and clean as the day I first bought them.
I know aftermarket oiled filters flow better, that's a fact. But they also tend to not...
I bought the PRL silicone intake hose but prefer the dry filters versus the Green oiled filter PRL uses. The Green filter or the K&N may flow slightly better than the performance dry type but I just feel "safer" with the dry ones.
I've used both the aFe Pro Dry S and the AEM Dryflow. Both are...
Something to consider to stabilize K control for the warmer weather ahead:

Having higher knock control number like .85 doesn't equate to any sort of damage you could be doing to you engine. Higher numbers mean timing is getting retarded so you have less power. There are a lot of factors such as octane, IAT's and load that determine K control. It's bound to go up...
