  2. FL5 Vanity Plate Hall of Fame

Not an FL5 but this was from my buddy’s car a couple years ago…thought it was funny
  3. PRL RMM heavy vibration with AC

All the dealer would do is throw foam tape at it, possible uninstall and reinstall interior panels...if that's what you did then there's probably no benefit to taking it to the dealer.
  4. PRL RMM heavy vibration with AC

Well I guess if they can't replicate it, then they would explore other options
  5. PRL RMM heavy vibration with AC

You guys give the dealers too much credit...you really think they're gonna put your car up on a lift to inspect a couple interior rattles? ?
  6. PRL RMM heavy vibration with AC

Probably could have taken it to the dealer and have them sort out the rattles. (They don't need to know that you have an aftermarket RMM installed)
  7. Has the 2nd gear grind happened to your FL5 yet?

I wouldn't say it's hard, but it takes time, and it definitely helps if you have someone to help you. I am no wrench at all, very minimal experience working on cars, but I was able to do it with a buddy who has all the tools and has more experience than I do. I will say the shifter cable...
  8. Has the 2nd gear grind happened to your FL5 yet?

I did the fully adjustable stage 3 acuity kit, so its the full assembly, including cable bushings. I had installed the shifter first, with the base bushings, and that transformed the shifter into a tight/stiff shifter. (My settings are on the tallest height, with middle gate spacing and throws)...
  9. Has the 2nd gear grind happened to your FL5 yet?

Again, I don't think its necessarily the car, because if it was then every single one would have the same issue....it seems like its something during the manufacturing process, or quality control.
  10. Has the 2nd gear grind happened to your FL5 yet?

Yes, it's very frustrating because for many people they don't have the same problem, so it's easy for them to say that you're not pushing the clutch in, or something like that. I find it difficult to believe that a car with heavily enthusiast clientele, would have so many of it's customers...
  11. Has the 2nd gear grind happened to your FL5 yet?

Funny enough I've dealt with what it sounds like you're dealing with with my FK8. As soon as I drove off the lot with it (brand new) I felt the crunch going into 2nd gear. I had the crunch pretty much going into any gear, didn't matter if it was up or down. I drove my friends fk8, which he...
  12. Eibach spring install cost

I think some of you guys are comparing a spring install on a base civic, or even an SI to the Type R...which has a completely different front suspension

  14. California SOLD

The barrel was not ceramic coated, only the face and the lip….i will have to double check as to what weights are on the wheels. I never mounted these on so I never got to balance them.
  15. California SOLD

    Bump! Price drop! $3,600 obo
  16. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Most people on the fk8 forums recommend going +45 offset max, mainly to help keep the scrub radius as close to stock (which is what keeps handling/steering feel sharp) If you don't care for handling and care more for looks +42 to +38 is flush As far as tire size, I would say go with a...
