All the dealer would do is throw foam tape at it, possible uninstall and reinstall interior panels...if that's what you did then there's probably no benefit to taking it to the dealer.
I wouldn't say it's hard, but it takes time, and it definitely helps if you have someone to help you. I am no wrench at all, very minimal experience working on cars, but I was able to do it with a buddy who has all the tools and has more experience than I do. I will say the shifter cable...
I did the fully adjustable stage 3 acuity kit, so its the full assembly, including cable bushings. I had installed the shifter first, with the base bushings, and that transformed the shifter into a tight/stiff shifter. (My settings are on the tallest height, with middle gate spacing and throws)...
Again, I don't think its necessarily the car, because if it was then every single one would have the same issue....it seems like its something during the manufacturing process, or quality control.
Yes, it's very frustrating because for many people they don't have the same problem, so it's easy for them to say that you're not pushing the clutch in, or something like that. I find it difficult to believe that a car with heavily enthusiast clientele, would have so many of it's customers...

I think some of you guys are comparing a spring install on a base civic, or even an SI to the Type R...which has a completely different front suspension
The barrel was not ceramic coated, only the face and the lip….i will have to double check as to what weights are on the wheels. I never mounted these on so I never got to balance them.
Most people on the fk8 forums recommend going +45 offset max, mainly to help keep the scrub radius as close to stock (which is what keeps handling/steering feel sharp)
If you don't care for handling and care more for looks +42 to +38 is flush
