It’s been confirmed for the Si and type R for some time now. I’d say it’s a toss up on the hatchback. There just isn’t enough people who just need a commuter car and also want a stick shift. Hell, I’m getting rid of my 10th Si no matter what because the rev hang + NY traffic is miserable.
That would sell a lot more than the Si. As with most cities, I live in a place that is absolutely awful to drive a manual daily. I have a 10th gen Si currently and will not buy another one if it’s manual only.

Hope the ILX replacement looks as good as this, I really don’t want a CVT.
There’s a few reasons for this.
1. while it looks not as streamlined, your eyes do not have to leave the road nearly as much to view the screen. (I hate the look too, but fully support the reason).
2. Particularly with this car by having it stick out allowed the entire dashboard to be 2 inches...
