Kuro and Kuro+ have very similar spool down low, but yeah, I would steer towards Kuro. Even without fuel system upgrades, you're looking at getting ~420-430WHP potentially with the Kuro. Throw in fuel and you'll be right below ~500. The Kuro feels very OEM+ which a lot of customers enjoy.
I'm been running the original Kuro on my own Type R for a few years. The one benefit for putting in the Kuro+ is if you ever wanted more power in the future, you can simply retune and boom, it's there.
